MySQL [Solved] Start / Stop MySQL Server from Command Line MacOS High Sierra


Start MySQL on Mac OS High Sierra

1. To start MySQL from Command Line:

Ss-MacBook-Air:~ sid$ sudo launchctl load -F /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.oracle.oss.mysql.mysqld.plist


2. To stop MySQL from Command Line:

Ss-MacBook-Air:~ sid$ sudo launchctl unload -F /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.oracle.oss.mysql.mysqld.plist

3. Find MySQL Version

Ss-MacBook-Air:~ sid$ /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -v -u root -p
